Good morning everyone! I could not be happier that it’s Friday and almost the weekend! I’m in a great mood and am fueled for the day from a wonderful breakfast I had this morning at my go-to bagel shop, Mount Royal Bagel Bakery.
I had their breakfast special; 2 poached eggs (cooked just the way I like them, slightly runny but not under cooked - I am very specific about my eggs), crispy hash brown potatoes, Israeli salad (freshly chopped tomatoes, cucumbers and onions), coffee (went for their delicious moka java blend) and the best part, of course, a bagel! I had trouble choosing which one, as usual, but I finally decided on an all dressed bagel, it had just come out of the oven and couldn’t even be cut. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture, but I have no doubt I’ll be back for breakfast sooner than later - probably this Sunday (especially for the price, $7.95).
Since it was Friday, they also had Challah that had just come out of the oven. So I got one regular and one whole wheat for Shabbat dinner tonight. Shabbat Shalom to those of you who follow!
